YOUR GIFT HELPS KIDS BECOME BETTER READERS

We know that solid reading skills are the foundation of future success in school and in life. Our Ready.Set.READ! initiative reaches children ages birth to third grade to help build these critical literacy skills and form a love of reading.

Your Gift Helps in a Crisis

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause a crisis in our community. Through our COVID-19 Response Fund, we award grants to meet a variety of critical needs. To date, more than 70 grants totaling $1.4 million have helped Berks Countians more than 350,000 times.
