Celebrating 100 Years of Impact

United Way of Berks County celebrates 100 years of impact in 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this milestone with you. For over a century, we’ve brought people together to identify and address our community’s most pressing needs. We invite you to help us celebrate by joining us for an event, volunteering, and following us @uwberks, where you’ll find trivia, videos and photos that commemorate the past, honor the present and help us look forward to the next 100 years.

Then, now and always, it starts with U.

The first 100 years

Scroll through our timeline to discover the key dates, events and issues that have driven our work for 100 years.
