United Way of Berks County is partnering with several area nonprofits, including Berks Community Action Program, Berks Encore, Boyertown Area Multi-Services, Catholic Charities, Centro Hispano and Friend, Inc. Community Services to help low to moderate income families become financially stronger.

Free tax preparation services are now available to individuals and families with a household income of less than $50,000 in 2009. From February 1 through April 15, appointments are available during day and evening hours at sites throughout Berks County. Several of the sites offer bilingual services. To schedule an appointment, download the flyer and contact the site most convenient to you. The flyer is also available in Spanish.
