United Way Releases Guide to Help Those Dealing with Economy

United Way of Berks County has released the "Help for Hard Times Guide," a brochure aimed at helping those affected by the economy find the assistance and services they need to find their way back to financial stability.  Because many local people are finding themselves in need of help for the first time in their lives, this guide offers a step-by-step process of what to do when faced with a financial crisis.

The guide has been created as part of United Way of Berks County's HelpLink Network.  HelpLink is a group of a agencies with trained staff and volunteers who can help individuals find programs, benefits and other services that can assist them during difficult times.  More information on the HelpLink Network is available in the guide.
